Karma and Effect is the third studio album by the South African rock band Seether. It was released on Plastic Man - Seether - Karma And Effect May by Wind-up Records. It is certified gold in the US and Canada. Upon release, the album debuted in the top 10 in many countries around the world and the first single " Remedy " held the top spot on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. Following singles " Truth ," Plastic Man - Seether - Karma And Effect " The Gift ", though not to the same extent, also found success on rock radio.
Since its release the album has soldunits in the U. This is the band's second and final release with lead guitarist Pat Callahan before his departure a year later.
